Galisteo, New Mexico held their Wild West Fest recently at the Rodeo grounds. It was in conjunction with a casting call for the remake of The Magnificent Seven. Several folks showed up in their western garb with the hopes of being an extra or better in the upcoming production. Interesting people watching. There was also a bit of a “show” in the arena. The overall tone of that event was a little too flag-wavy for us so we ducked out the back door. The last few frames were a most remarkable vehicle: The Frankendodge. I believe it may have started out as a ’60s era Valiant but it’s hard to find too many original parts on this baby. Quite a sight.
